Artist’s Statement

Why I Love America
I investigate the emergent order found where my will, mediated by culture and technology, intersects with the physical world.

Since my own philosophy is constantly reformulating, I hope the following randomly generated paradigm will serve as my artist’s statement. These are my principles, if you don’t like them then click, I have others:

Meaning is embedded in the form and function of its medium; it is an implicate order. Paradigm building is not only a cultural process, but also a personal one that can be approached consciously. "Paradigms are sensorial and immediate, as well as epistemological and historical".

Only the illusion of time separates us from absolute being. The whole is greater than the sum of its parts; those mycelial memes whose individual existence is wholly dependent on their context. We are, as are all the things that surround us, dissipative structures.

The musical fact that sustainability is possible only through harmonic resonance applies just as well to the relationships of living things, atoms, and ideas, as it does to sound. Life is the product of a universal drive toward complexity, and consciousness is its highest expression.
